On the Road with Ray Eye

Ray shares some of his favorite eating spots

In an effort to bring to you great places to eat while on the road like old time cafes, places where the parking lot is full of local pickup trucks, I field test both service and food quality at some really cool family owned cafes with personality and character. It is a tough job, but I am your guy.

If you are tired of national chain restaurants that heat up frozen food and fast food restaurants with fake breakfast sandwiches the restaurants listed below are the answer to quality food, good service and an enjoyable “eating out” experience.

Fred’s Fish House

Miller’s Grill

The Blue Owl Restaurant & Bakery

Pancake City

Maggie’s Cafe

Arlington Breakfast Inn

The 18 Wheeler Restaurant

The Coffee Pot

Hall’s Restaurant
